Kaitlyn's Choice Night

As a tradition in the Beehive class we have let the girls in their birthday month choose a class activity.  Well Kaitlyn had her birthday in August but somehow she just could not decide what it was she wanted to do.  Finally this month we held her night.  A Pajama Party, Dodge Ball, Funny Bones game night! It was great fun and we enjoyed some home made St. Partick's Day Sugar Cookies, thank you Sis. Harding and some home made Popcorn, thank you Sis. Nemrow!

March Combined Activity, "Put on the Armor of God"

The Mia Maids were in charge of the Combined Activity this month.  Special thanks goes out to Sis. Norris for the idea and the planning for this event.  We had a great time and enjoyed designing our Armor and shooting the arrows into the baskets.  Also, thank you to the Bishop for bringing the activity to a close and reminding us about the importance of "Putting on the Armor of God"

Young Women Combined Activity February 2010

This evening we had our combined Young Women Activity.  Sis. Nemrow brought supplies and taught us how to decopauge.  We had boxes with lids to cover with paper and glue.  It was a bit messy and no one was ready to go when the evening ended. Too Much Fun!

Sis. Harding brought pancake makings and while we were doing our craft we could enjoy some yummy pancakes!  It was National Pancake Day?  I don't think I have heard of this before!

The boys had pizza after their activity and a few of the girls were more than a little envious! Pizza, Pancakes, Pancakes, Pizza! Hmmm, both sound pretty good to me!

February 14th, Valentines Day Fireside

On Sunday, February 14th the YM/YW enjoyed a fireside at the Bishop's house.  We viewed a DVD from the General YM and YW Presidency and the Bishopric discussed with us about what we can do to be strong and courageous.  How to be an example to others and what we can do to help each other.

The YW Presidency provided treats to celebrate the day! Thank you to Sis. Harding for the wonderfully delicious individual Heart cakes and to Sis. Farnsworth and Sis. Nemrow for the fun Valentines candy and decorations.  Bro. Schauman sugessted that maybe Brownie Mix will not be enough any more!!!

February Combined Activity!

The Deacons were in charge of the Combined Activity for February.  They made BBQ Pizza's out on a Grill and had fun games in the parking lot!  A Car Pulling Race was one of the activities and everyone really reved up the engines for that!  No pictures for this but we really had a good time!

First Combined Activity of 2010

Our first Combined Activity for 2010 was a trip to the Ice Rink!  When we arrived we found out that the Los Serranos Youth had their activity planned for that evening too!  We all had fun and enjoyed Pizza from Little Ceasar's!  Thanks to the Beehives and Sis. Harding for planning this great start to the new year.
